Moving Companies Are Not Just For the Wealthy

I never hired a moving company in the past due to thinking that I could not afford the help. I just assumed they were not for "everyday people" but instead only for wealthier people. When I found a new job in another state, I had to move fast to make sure I was there for my official start date. I decided to give a local moving company a call just for the heck of it. I was shocked to find out their rates were actually very reasonable! I always paid for my own packing materials, truck rental, and people to help me pack before my other moves, and I even took unpaid time off work to pack; this time I actually saved money by using a moving company. I want to help others by sharing my story, and I plan to post more tips about moving and storage!
